Tokyo Skytree is a digital broadcasting, restaurant and observation tower and it is the centrepiece of the Tokyo Skytree town in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan.
The tower was completed in 2012 reaching its hight of 634 metres, making it the world’s tallest free-standing tower and the second tallest structure in the world after Burj Khalifa, Dubai.

Tokyo Skytree main attractions are its two observation decks, Tembo Deck at 350 m (1,150 ft) and Tembo Galeria at 450 m (1,480 ft).

Tempo deck is divided into 3 levels all featuring great views of the city. A restaurant, a gift shop and a cafe are found on the lower and middle floors, while the upper floor is covered in 5 meter-high glass panels offering a 360-degree view of the city, up to 70 kilometres away in the distance. On a fine day, you can even get a clear view of Mt.Fuji.

Tembo Galeria features a 110-long meters glass floor, giving visitors a direct downward view of the streets below, and the impression of walking in the sky.

Tickets for the decks can be purchased on the fourth floor. All of the staff speak English and there are brochures that can be downloaded in 13 different languages, such as English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, etc.

5

A large shopping complex with over 312 different stores is located at the base of the tower. Attractions such as an aquarium and a planetarium are also featured and a wide range of restaurants can be found in Tokyo Skytree East Tower.

If you wish to enjoy space with a spectacular view, Tokyo Skytree is the place to visit.
