One of the largest and most popular parks in Tokyo, Yoyogi Park stands just a few minutes walk from Harajuku station.
The park has picnic areas, flower gardens, pounds and fountains, bike paths and public sport courts, and its many trees form a dense green (golden in autumn) forest.

On Sundays, Yoyogi is a popular gathering spot for Japanese rock music fans, dancers, people practicing different things and sports fans. It also has event facilities where concerts and events are held almost every weekend.
In spring, thousands of people have picnics under the cherry blossom trees during ‘hanami’.

Let yourself be blown a way by the beauty of this park. A Sunday stroll through Tokyo’s Yoyogi Park, is unlike a visit to any park anywhere else in the world. Be sure to check out the Meiji Shrine, which is right next door.
